Introduction
Destineyes offers chat services as part of our offerings. This Chat Policy outlines the rules and guidelines for using our chat services, ensuring a safe and respectful environment for all Users. This policy forms part of the Destineyes User Agreement and is incorporated by reference therein.
User Conduct
Users must:
- Respect the Chat Provider and Other Users: Harassment, threats, or abuse towards others are strictly prohibited. Please use standard chat etiquette and respect the privacy of other Destineyes Users.
- Avoid Sharing Personal Information: Do not divulge your personal contact information to other Users or request direct contact, including in-person meetings.
- Use Appropriate Language: Avoid transmitting any unlawful, harassing, libelous, privacy-invading, abusive, threatening, defamatory, vulgar, obscene, racist, harmful, or otherwise objectionable material of any kind.
- Misrepresentation and Fraud: Do not impersonate or misrepresent your affiliation with any person or entity, including Destineyes and its employees and agents, or imply that any statements you make are endorsed by Destineyes or its staff.
Prohibited Activities
The following activities are strictly prohibited in chat:
- Harassment or Abuse: Any form of harassment, threats, or abuse towards other Users.
- Sharing Offensive or Inappropriate Content: Including unsolicited advertising, promotional materials, or any form of solicitation for external or competitive websites. This also includes transmitting any sexually explicit content intended to cause sexual arousal.
- Misrepresentation or Fraudulent Behavior: Impersonating others or misrepresenting your affiliation with any person or entity.
- Privacy Violations: Attempting to harvest, collect, store, or publish private or personally identifiable information without knowledge and willing consent.
- Threats and Intimidation: Threatening, stalking, defaming, defrauding, degrading, victimizing, or intimidating an individual or group of individuals for any reason.
- Harmful Conduct: Actions intended to harm or disrupt another User’s computer, illegally access software, bypass security on websites or servers, including spamming.
- Transmission of Harmful Files: Sending files that contain software viruses or any other computer code designed to destroy, interrupt, or limit the functionality of any computer software, hardware, or other equipment.
Enforcement and Reporting
Destineyes reserves the right, at its sole discretion, to review and remove user-created services and content without notice, and to delete content and accounts. We may also ban participants or terminate access to services for violating this policy.
Important Notice
Destineyes is not equipped to handle emergency situations or provide suicide prevention services. Please contact a suicide hotline, your personal physician, a hospital emergency room, or your local emergency contact number for professional assistance. If you provide personal information to a host or another user and later threaten suicide, we reserve the right to contact appropriate authorities; however, we do not guarantee that emergency personnel will be contacted.
