Photo and Video Policy

Introduction

Destineyes is committed to maintaining a consistent and professional appearance across our platform. This Photo and Video Policy outlines the guidelines for submitting photos and videos for listings. It forms part of the Destineyes User Agreement and is incorporated by reference therein.

Listing Photos

To maintain uniformity across the site, all advisors are required to upload a photo of themselves to their listings. If you choose not to upload a personal photo, your listing photo may be replaced with a default image determined by Destineyes.

Photo Content Restrictions:

1. No Nudity or Pornographic Material: Users may not post photos containing nudity or pornographic content.
2. No Unlawful or Offensive Content: Users may not upload or transmit photos that are unlawful, harmful, threatening, harassing, defamatory, vulgar, obscene, hateful, racially or ethnically objectionable, or invasive of another’s privacy.
3. No Unauthorized Advertising: Users may not upload promotional materials or any content they do not have the right to transmit under any law or contractual relationship.
4. Intellectual Property Compliance: Photos must not infringe any patent, trademark, trade secret, copyright, or other proprietary rights.

Responsibility and Control:

All photos, whether posted publicly or privately transmitted, are the sole responsibility of the person from whom the photo originated. Destineyes does not control photos transmitted through Mail or posted on User’s home pages and does not guarantee their accuracy, integrity, or quality. However, Destineyes reserves the right to remove any photo that violates our Photo Policy or User Agreement without notice.

User Agreement:

By becoming a User, each User agrees that their photograph, if submitted, can be used for the purposes described here and in the Privacy Policy. This Photo Policy is the entire understanding with respect to its subject matter and supersedes all prior policies.

Listing Videos

Advisors also have the option to add video content to their listings. While video content is optional, it adds significant value to listings by increasing the likelihood of engagement. Video Content Requirements:

Mandatory Inclusions:

1. Advisor Name: Clearly state your name.
2. Specialty: Specify your area of expertise.
3. Experience: Mention your years on Destineyes or overall experience.
4. Reading Style: Describe your style of reading.

Prohibited Content:

1. References to other platforms, including social media.
2. Background music or other audio.
3. Extreme filters and special effects.
4. Any content violating Destineyes’s User Agreement or its subsections, such as the User Services Rules Policy.

Use of Submissions

By submitting photos or videos, you grant Destineyes the right to use, edit, and publish the content for promotional purposes. Submissions must be original, and users must have the rights to share the content.
